The scope
Bring the details together
before the first journey.
Launch, commissioning and handover bring many decisions together. Owners unfamiliar with the process can find it difficult to judge what has been completed. We help owners and commercial partners establish a shared record of readiness, outstanding items and responsibilities before the next phase.
01Your brief and authority
We establish your priorities, the available build specification and agreed equipment, the handover programme and our authority. Acceptance and contractual decisions remain with you or your expressly authorised representative.
02Commissioning and practical checks
We review available commissioning records and coordinate agreed attendance at inspections, equipment demonstrations and sea trials. Incomplete checks or questions needing a surveyor, engineer or other specialist are identified for follow-up.
03Defects and outstanding work
Observed defects, omissions and unfinished work are recorded with photographs where appropriate. We raise them with the responsible parties and track agreed actions, rather than leaving important details to an informal conversation.
04Builder liaison and follow-through
We coordinate practical follow-up with the builder, dealer and relevant specialists. Completed actions and unresolved items are recorded, helping you understand what has been addressed and what remains before an acceptance decision.
05Documents and maintenance requirements
We help organise manuals, equipment details, warranty documents and available service records. Maintenance requirements are checked against the installed systems, including any applicable initial service intervals.
06Readiness for the next phase
We coordinate the transition to cruising, delivery or shipping, including the agreed condition record and protection measures. Outstanding items and responsibilities are carried forward explicitly, so the next team receives a useful brief.
