We seek suitable carrier options and clarify inclusions, exclusions, validity and booking conditions. Dimensions, weight, yacht records and lifting information are coordinated with the appropriate parties; technical figures and handling arrangements require competent confirmation.
Where required, we arrange sailmakers or riggers to remove, label and stow sails, stack packs and covers. Boom, halyard and masthead-equipment work is assessed against the yacht and carrier requirements—not assumed necessary for every shipment.
We coordinate appropriate protection for exposed stainless steel, vulnerable fittings, surfaces and interiors. Securing loose equipment, recording removed items and photographing the yacht’s condition establish a clear record before it changes hands.
